Welcome to vantageframes.com ("the Site"), operated by VANTAGE ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, or by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method provided.
2. Products & Descriptions
We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including the technical specifications of our lens filtering. VANTAGE lenses filter a documented wavelength band and glare pattern — we do not claim to block all blue light, and VANTAGE products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or correct pricing/description errors at any time, including after an order has been placed, in which case we'll contact you before proceeding.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice, though changes won't affect orders already placed and confirmed. Payment is processed securely through our payment providers (including Shopify Payments and/or PayPal); we do not store your full card details.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable stock. If we cancel an order after payment, you'll receive a full refund.
4. Promotions & Discounts
From time to time we offer automatic promotions (such as a second-pair discount). Unless stated otherwise, promotional discounts cannot be combined with other offers or discount codes, apply only while the promotion is active, and are subject to the specific conditions shown at the time (e.g. minimum quantity).
5. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for items purchased passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or customs processes outside our control.
6. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our separate Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the VANTAGE name, logo, product photography, 360° imagery, and written copy — is owned by VANTAGE or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content commercially without our written permission.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Interfere with the security or functioning of the Site
- Submit false information when placing an order
9. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is." We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VANTAGE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased, beyond the amount you paid for the relevant order. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, the UK, or elsewhere, you may benefit from additional mandatory consumer protections under the law of your own country of residence, and nothing in these Terms removes those protections.
EU consumers can also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr for out-of-court dispute resolution.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
